As I may have mentioned last year, I sold a story that
was going to be in an anthology of writing by hard of
hearing people. After a ton of delays.....the book is
FINALLY out! I got my contribuators' copies today!
Next stop Pulitzer Prize! Go to
Mark Drolsbaugh - Handwave Publications - Deaf Again, Anything But Silent, for
more information!
I am SO excited!!!!!
 
Wow! U took the steps that I have always wanted to but afraid to..I need to overcome my fears of rejection.:giggle: I am sure I will find the courage and motivation someday! :)

Good news :) but I don't think I could read the stories since it will not be sold in my country .
 
You can buy it online..........the name of the book is On the Fence: the Hidden World of the Hard of Hearing. My piece is called Equality.
 
Congratualtions, dd! I'm proud to say I chat with you! I ordered a copy just now and can't wait to get it. Also, I just reccommeded it to a couple of the Deaf Studies instructors as a supplemental teaching tool. The old director was using all materials from a hearing standpoiint--definately not the way to teach culture! Hope you sell many, many copies.
