Hi. We actually have some young bulldog pups, and one of the girls is a beautiful white pup who is apparantly completely deaf. Plz get back to me if you are interested in her. She's from UGA line, very beautiful, very playful.

Are you giving her away?

No, but Botts, isn't it true that they startle more easily, and for that reason, might snap quickly if surprised?

You can learn to manage it, by making sure the dog can see you before you reach out to touch him, for instance.

If you startle any dog, you might get that reaction. I think it's a matter of training so that the dog does not react in that manner.

And just so everyone knows, AKC dogs are not supposed to be sold if deaf.

So the bulldog breeder should only be looking for a rescue home, not trying to make a profit.

Isn't it kind of odd that this thread was 6 years old, and then someone pops up with their very first post trying to sell or place a deaf dog?

I think it may be their only post. Trying to sell the dog to people is unethical, and they probably don't want to be reported.
