I see stories of husband or wife donate stuffs to thrift stores. The significant other finds out about it and says, you weren't supposed to donate this. WHy does it happen? What about communication? Why not ask your spouse if this should be donated? Go over items together. Decide what stays and goes together. A valuable bonding time. If they get donated behind your back, that is pretty ridiculous. It shouldn't happen.

It shouldn't happen but the other person in the relationship is likely tired of seeing it around the house and has asked their wife/husband to get rid of it to no avail. So...they donate it behind their backs...I agree, it's the wrong thing to do. People should be communicating not surprising each other with the disappearing items they wanted to hold on to.
