Yes, I dislike this FCC rules. I have worked for purple. I have two Purple numbers One should become personal and use this for P2P but do not use this for VRS calls relating to Purple Business. Other this should be business only, use this account for VRS calls relating to Purple contractor. For example if you need to call a school IT department or ISP relating to MVP or P3 issues, etc. This account to be used. not for any personal related VRS calls.
I understand your point of view but want highlight that FCC purpose to prevent abuse the VRS fund.
Example; if one phone number that you reciving the bills that need resolve or whatever reason. You use toll free number and the company got your calls. Who should paid that long distance to that one? The company... If the company internal call long distance between same company, who paid... the company.
It what FCC point of view due no point to have FCC pay the service if hearing caller called with same VRS provider to customer service. The company paid interpreter base providing interpreter to both client due same VRS employee.
I understand the different about company and client, mean that company have to pay interpreter? No...
It is about 'VRS' employee to prevent abuse and how many percent technical support or customer service get a call with VRS? It should be small numbers.
