You don't understand how the networking system works. All of the Sorenson VP goes straight though Sorenson Server WHILE the rest of VRS don't have any server to deal with point to point VP calls. Only that VRS use server for all of VRS calls only, not point to point like Sorenson system.

I have sorenson VP, and if I want to call you and you got Sorenson VP then my call is really going though Sorenson server first then your VP. See where the problem is? While Dlink using IP address, they search where your IP address and found you, not server of any VRS.

Next time look who make the sorenson vp-100 and vp-200 and inside will stated made by D-link and you have nothing to worry about. The hardware inside are copy protected.

Good question! I was wondering what these technicans at Sorenson's server are competent even with their BS degree, or really it was a *B(censored)T* degree they were holding? I wish that Sorenson would be smart enough to focus on those who are good with networking like those who may hold N+ certificate.

I really don't care because the practice that Sorenson placed on hiring employees is seriously flawed. And I am not supporting Sorenson anyway. BTW, those hackers are hearing people that I know showed me and asked me what they are talking about.

DB, When you saw what your friends show you...Are you saying your hearing friends were watching two deaf people chatting on VP from your hearing friends' computer? How did they do that? I'm curious...

By the way, I'm Computer Network Engineer. You can say "end of discussion" (grammar fix here) and you can warn us all you want, it is our common practice to report and research off security sites like NSA , Security Focus and the like. I've seen similiar arguementation like this in irc.freenode.net and similiar channels and the most common solution is to research off professional sites abeforementioned. I've been around hackers since 1995 and they often depend on these security sites to find more holes, to innovate more hacks and the like. They often seek for fame by having sites mention their nick or hacker's group name on news or something. So far I found nothing with Sorenson' security and you probably are drawing the attention to YOU claiming false things (no such a thing exists unless you provide URL to it). It doesn't matter whether they are hearing or not, GoAmerica.com have deaf vice president (Mark Stern) and what do it have to do anything with being able to hear? Now, UNTIL you provide solid and useful URL to your claims, END OF DISCUSSION. Any further claims made by you will be deleted UNTIL you provide URL to sites that performed review on Sorenson services (because this is not debating thread). Yeah, hacker has the tendency to hold their "Secrets" to themselves to prevent discovery. But Sorenson, FCC, NSA or any security sites has not validated this claim so far.

Dlink do NOT have the server to handle the video relay service like Sorenson have, that is why it is impossible for hacker to break in if it is done by Dlink. PLUS Sorenson DO have relationship with Dlink, and it is not because I am in favor of Dlink, just that it happens that Dlink don't have the server for hacker to break in.

Your right Hacker never leaves trail behind, that is why there is no way they can be traced! I personally have witness with my jaw dropped. But again, there is no way to trace it... Most hackers uses fake proxy server, how can you trace it back?

I am saying is that this is a warning to make sure deafies don't fall victim in scams.

What do network topology (paths) have to do with hacking? Network security is based on how Network Administrator configure their system, REGARDLESS on how things was handled. If you care so much to warn us, then simply provide URL indicating that Sorenson VRS has serious problem OR to warn Sorenson about this activity.

If you personally witnessed it and your jaws dropped to the floor, then report it. Faked proxy server can be hard to backtrack, so the true the same with dlink, it will be hacked eventually. Similiar to Pentagon, it WAS hacked, something that was thought impossible.

Then provide us the url concerning Sorenson -- something that is VALIDATED or RELIABLE over your own claims.
