I just installed VMware 8 and I love it!! My Acer Aspire 1551 notebook with Dual Core Neo II processor and it can handle VMware well!

It have 4 GB RAM maxed and I ran VMware and installed several OSes, This would give me opportunity to test out or use OSes for fun of it. The desktop beckground is Windows 7 Home Premium edition.

I'm sure that some of you already have VMware or Virtual Box ect.

It can set to Unity mode and it was cool!! (Unity mode artificially combine two OSes into one desktop.

Here's the pix. (you see "Ubuntu"when it's actually Macbuntu (Ubuntu with Mac look like desktop).

I use VMware for many years and I love it. It's works great for Windows 7,XP, and Linux on my OSX.

I used to use it but have since moved to Virtualbox, much the same but seems to work better par VM.

Yup, I've use Virtualbox in Linux. I had no issue tho. Last year, I had issue with VB because you have to install file to make USB work. Now, they fixed the issue. It was rather strange issue for brief period of time.

VMware and VB can't do certain type of graphical gaming except flash or java game. I even tried to watch movie through Windows in VB and it won't play either. I am fully aware that it's not actually merged to graphic chipset. I read one of posting about VMware that they are working on integrating graphic into VMware to allow gamers to play games on it.

I had Virtualbox, it is better than VirtualPC and VM
why?
Virtual PC only read /write .VHD
VM only reade / write folder VM but can't install Cd/DVD (version 'VM player" for free)

VirtualBox read / write .VDI AND SUPPORT read / write Virtual and VM !!!

I love VirtualBox!!

I had an issue with Windows 95 C (OSR 2.5 - the one with USB support and the P6 microarchitecture (I think that's Pentium II and III)) and VirtualBox - the USB thing won't work. I even tried the USB Supplement and the USB update that was in the 95 C CD ISO - still a no go.

I really want to try it and see if the USB thing works or not in VirtualBox. Any ideas on how?

Like other post above you, Same what I would say, downoad USB for Windows 95 and 98. because both old Doz don't have driver ready for USB. I've had to download and install driver for Winodws 95 to enable it. So do the same thing on your Virtualbox or VMware whatever you're using..

Have anyone tried QEMU?? I've installed it in Ubuntu and I was unable to figure it out how to actually use it. Care to explain?
