Have you been happy about quality of using ASL in video chats whether it is Face time, video phone, ooVoo, Skype, etc with the listed phone below. I'm interested in those who currently have or used to have Nexus 4/5, Note 2/3, Galaxy S3/S4, LG G2, Xperia, or even HTC one for the above. Were the quality of pictures good whether you used it or you knew someone use or used to use it to talk to you? Keep in mind that I'm not talking about your ASL skills. I'm more interested in quality of reading ASL signs on video on those phones mentioned above.

I was told that Galaxies S4 is did well than the iPhone 5, but I do not have confirm yet. I was told my friend as we talk over the phone and he was happy with it. Hope you find what you are looking for...

I have a Galaxy S2 and with Sorenson nTouch, it does pretty good for a 3G signal but we don't have 4G in our area yet to compare with.

But my wife have a S3 Galaxy and her Sorenson nTouch video seem to be more sharper and have better framerate than mine on same 3G singal.

Remember it not only on bandwidth but the CPU of the phone itself, faster CPU better video compression and decompression rate. That why my wife S3 video seem to be a much better quality than mine but I am quite comfortable with the Sorenson nTouch on my S2 Galaxy.

I can't wait to see how it do on 4G signal. Our town does have some 4G mostly on the south side but it expanding and should reach to our area soon.

I have not yet seen how it does on S4 Galaxy but I heard it does great as well too.

I believe that Samsung does make a high quality phone or otherwise Apple wouldn't be so worrying about it and try to sue the pants off Samsung to get them to stop making high quality phone.

I don't have any of the above, but my ZTE X501 phone does have good quality with ASL interperters, and VP to VP on my Sorensen ntouch mobile. However, my Asus Memo Pad delivers much sharper quality and more attention to detail than the X501 does, but the problem is the crappy WiFi here. Otherwise, it's as good as it gets.

Facetime is best video quality than voodoo, skpye, and hangouts. I tried all of them for LTE networking as it got good signal. Sad, Facetime is for Apple only like iPhone, iPad, Macbook, etc.

I like Google Hangouts. Problem is, it's been a long time since it last saw any activity.
