Which video editor you all like?

I am trying out several video editor and I don't want to use one that free with Windows because it does not import MOD video files.

MOD are video format found in harddrive / SDisk camcorders.

So far I tried

Windows Movie Maker - prrrrrtttttttttttt - where the uninstall button!!!!!!! :D

Sony Vegas Studio Pro 9 and DVD Archiest - Cannot import my Canon Camcorder MOD so had to convert to mpeg first then edit videos. Support all widescreen video which is good. DVD Arch seem easy to use and easy to create menu. Merge video MOD files seamlessly. ((Since SDisk are FAT32 so video are limited to 4MB size and when it goes over 4MB it create a second file so sometime ahve to merge them together into one mpeg file))

Cyberlink PowerDirector 8 - Can import Canon MOD so that is good but the video editor seem to skip or jump between two MOD. I can't see to merge two different MOD video together in PowerDirector. Maybe I missed a toggle or step.

Anyone tried Unlead Video Studio Pro? Adobe Preimer? (I will try that one next) any software to suggest?

Thank you

.

Try Google for video converter for your mod files to like avi, flv, mpeg, etc...then use your video editor from there should be working.
