The bloodthristy Israelis did not even have the decency or respect to wait until they could kill the terrorist alone and not with his family. The Israelis end up making more people hate the Israelis themselves by the Israeli's own doings , not yours or mine or anybody else's. The Israelis have no clue what they are doing will make the whole world hate Israel. I saw this on the Orgish.com website and it reminded me alots of the movie " Munich " where the Israelis could not even do anything right and they had the audacity to kill somebody in front of their family. They could not even wait to kill a man alone like professional soldiers on a mission would and also that an artillery round on a family vacationing on the beach is way overkill and just too much. They could have killed him on his way to work or something like that but not in front of his wife or his children while they were vacationing on the beach. Just plain sick and evil .....

BEIT LAHIYA, Gaza Strip - Pounding on the sand, Houda Ghalia shrieked for her father after he was killed with five of her siblings at a seaside picnic by what Palestinians said was an Israeli shell.

Footage of the 10-year-old screaming "Father! Father!" has played over and over again on television, driving home the devastating impact of what Palestinian leaders are calling "genocidal" and "a war crime."

One of the only members of her family to emerge unscathed, Houda was left questioning her fate.

"What have I done wrong that I should have to live without my parents?" the girl asked AP Television News, surrounded by teary-eyed female relatives dressed in black.

Israel expressed regret Saturday for the killing of eight civilians, but stopped short of taking responsibility, saying an investigation was under way.

Israel's military chief said the killings may have resulted from a misfired Palestinian rocket. Palestinians insisted they were caused by an Israeli artillery shell.

Houda and her 11 brothers and sisters were enjoying a day in the sun with their father, who had promised them a picnic if they passed their end-of-year exams. Hearing Israeli warning fire, the family quickly packed up. They were waiting for a taxi when the explosive landed, she said.

Houda's father, Ali, was killed with five of her brothers and sisters her father's second wife and one other person who was not related to them. Her mother and five other children from the family were wounded. Three of the children are being treated in Israeli hospitals.

Six members of Houda's family died instantly in the attack, and a seventh died from injuries soon after.

Israel often fires artillery at Gaza, responding to Palestinian militants who launch homemade rockets at Israeli towns and villages.

Moderate President Mahmoud Abbas opened a speech on Saturday by paying tribute to Houda's ordeal.

"What is the crime that she committed while she was watching her family being killed on the beach and screaming?" Abbas said. "Who is responsible for such acts and why are such acts being committed against innocent people?"

Later, Abbas met Houda in his office in Gaza, shedding a tear as he stroked her hair.

"We called for peace and we will call for peace. This incident is not going to prevent us from calling for peace," Abbas said.

Hadeel, Ali Ghalia's daughter from his second wife, is hospitalized in Gaza with shrapnel wounds. She still has not been told that she lost both her parents and her brother, the youngest family member. There were conflicting reports from the family and hospital about boy's age, ranging from six months to about a year old.

"Hadeel is now an orphan," said Nasreen Ghalia, the girl's aunt. "We want nothing from (the Israelis.) We just want them to leave us alone."

I will visit Israel even if the war is still going on. I have been to places where there are real war zones in the U.S.A. where anybody would be frightened right out of their mind.

I would like to see the Biblical places and events that happened in the Holy Bible 2,000 years ago. The war is not gonna stop me from visiting The Holy Land.

I will pray to God according to Leviticus 19:14 KJV Holy Bible as well as several verses in the Holy Bible for spiritual and physical protection.

I might book a Biblical tour with Zola Levitt Ministries but I will have to hire an ASL interpreter or I will just go with my mom after I graduate from college and pay for my mom and my family to visit Europe, Germany and Italy then go to the Holy Land then return to the USA. I really don't know of any Deaf supported Israeli tours right now. I think the Israeli law is not that as strong as here in the USA when it comes to ASL interpreters so I am not too sure about that.

Iraq War is probably complete about no later than 2010 or so, Vietnam War is started in 1967 until 1975, also many part of middle east have many bad people like Gaza or something, that always enters other countries and start terrorist, they want developed countries (like USA, Canada, rest of Europe and some part of former Soviet Union) are become nuke, become all muslim and third world. Do the math....

The American mortarmen takes 3 men to man and fire artillery rounds.

With the Israeli mortarmen it takes 4 men to man and fire artillery rounds.

Dialing in the artillery coordinates has to be 100 % accurate and dead on with an error of -1 to -3 but on a beach ..... No way there is no excuse for that. I highly doubt the Palestinian terrorists were on the beach mortaring from there. They would have been some place else out of sight , unseen so that the Israelis can't dial them in and blow them away. The Palestinian terrorists would have been in some street alley shooting the artillery rounds off and the Israeli army would have been racing in their Jeeps and Humvees looking for the terrorists and get in a gun battle with them and have helicopters overhead looking for the terrorists and machine gun them to death. That is more professional than just responding to artillery fire.

Several British soldiers died due to friendly fire by Americans. Mistakes happen sometimes. The case you're discussing in this thread is a perfect example.

The article does really not explain how it is the Palestinian's doing at all.They just showed naval aerial pictures taken 4 hours before the incidient took place and they say that they can account for all of the 76 mm or the 155 mm shellings. They just simply say that " The Palestinians did it " then why was that Palestinian family waiting for a taxicab as soon as they heard the Israelis mortaring the shells close to that family while the Palestinian mortaring was going in the opposite direction and that family was safe by all accounts, what's more why could the Israelis not get a U.S. made Apache helicopter that we gave of course, to Israel to go flying in the air on a search and destroy mission to stop the Palestinans launching missiles..... It would have been a simple matter of machine gun fire from the Apache helicopter towards the Palestinian terrorists. That innocent Palestinian family would never have been hurt or injuried or tragically enough, killed.
