Va School For Deaf And Blind Plans New Building - wjz.com
The Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind is preparing to begin construction of a new consolidated middle and high school.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Education Building is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the school in Staunton.
School officials also will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the renovated library and student center following the groundbreaking.
The projects are part of the General Assembly's plan to consolidate the Staunton school with one in Hampton on the Staunton campus.
