V... Remake & Sequel!

I love it, it was one of my favored sci-fi movies.

Me too. When I was a kid, I saw part of the series without captioning.

Years later, I got the DVD. Finally, I watched the whole thing with close captioning. Now, I understand the story. :)

A week later, I decided to look it up online and saw that they announced the upcoming movie called V: The Second Generation. It is supposedly about a new race of hybrids similar to the Star Child. I don't know if these new hybrids are similar to the appearance of the Star Child and have the same power... or something different. :dunno:

But this should be something interesting to see. :)

I read about the sequel on IMDB 3 years ago. However, I've been waiting for a more official announcement. Now, they made one. :)

YES!

V was a classic sci-fi mini-series. When they tried the regular series, it sucked.

Hopefully, the V: Second Generation will be much better than the original mini-series! Two months ago or so, I read Kenneth Johnson's interview with IESB.net and he would like to make a motion picture following the new mini-series.

Here's a link of his interview with IESB.

You can get the series for a very cheap price nowadays. There are 3 DVD sets... V: The Original Mini-Series, V: The Final Battle, and V: The Complete Series. I'm sure you can get them at $10, $15, and $20. Try Best Buy, Circuit City, and Wal*Mart. :)

Diana was one of my favorite. I was a kid and during the 80s, those ladies were considered "hot". I wonder what the current babes will look like. ;)

Wow, I do remember watching the mini-series of "V" when I was a kid.
I am not a fan of Science Fiction films but I liked "V" somehow.

I remember my friends getting obsessed with the show. They would draw the Visitor symbol on everything. They even had a party where all the guys would paint themselves with green/black paint to make themselves look like they just peeled their skin exposing lizard skin. ;)

"Hey, look at me! *makes act of peeling skin off face* I'm V!!! *makes tongue noises like lizards*"
