“The Arctic ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot. Reports all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard-of temperatatures in the Arctic zone. Expeditions report that at scarcely any ice has been met with as far north as 81 degrees 29 minutes. Great at masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, while at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared. 1922”

78 years apart...not much difference on the alarm. North Pole ice never went ice free in 2008 or 2009. Neither did it go ice free in 1922.
Calm down folks. You've been duped and played for a witless patsy.

"We're actually projecting this year that the North Pole may be free of ice for the first time [in history]," David Barber, of the University of Manitoba, told National Geographic News aboard the C.C.G.S. Amundsen, a Canadian research icebreaker. – National Geographic News, June 20, 2008
