My mother was totally surprised to see that here in town 1 pack of cigarettes was $6.50 and a carton was $42.50. I remember buying them for less than a dollar per pack and just $10 dollars for the carton.

Ask Canadians if it worked in their country. They have graphic labels on cigs and stuff.
 
Is that really necessary? -_- still won't really stop enough people from smoking.

we have had graphic images on cigs here in Ontario for quiteee some time now...don't think ppl really care..
 
Maybe they should add compare before, as sexy, and after as ugly-ass the way tobacco affect? ;p

Yep. And it doesn't work to get people to quit. Just like the war on drugs, they are throwing good money after bad with this campaign. They are coming at the problem from the wrong direction, just as they do with drug use, and unhealthy eating habits, etc. But it makes the public think they are doing something, so they continue with the same old ineffective tactics.

it is serious on worst your health because terrible dangerous! It is very not joke! it is very horrible addiction heavy, my uncle addiction is very too much 1 second I notice it!

waste of time on money and gamble and alcholo and smoke not good for health! It is very serious! that is horrible!
