What do u think? I got mixed feelings about it for some reasons. One of the reasons why I got mixed feelings is I do not want to see our Canadian government share any costs of the new fence if it comes to a reality.

Remember the 9/11 terrorists did not come to US from Canada. :squint:
 
It's interesting. I never thought of terrorists trying to come in by using the Canadian border.

Some U.S. government officials, especially Janet Napolitano and politicians claimed that a few of them came to the U.S. from Canada.
 
I wonder if there are any solid accurate statistics comparing the number of illegal border-crossing problems from Canada to the US vs. the US to Canada. That would be interesting to know.
 
This is such a LONG boarder... I doubt we could possibly spend enough money to make it mean anything. If you think about it. probably more criminals escape into Canada than escape into the U.S. We would probably be doing the Canadians a favor (and making us look like an ass to them).
