I am wondering if any of you watch television on computer from other countries Ya know, with internet nowaday you can figure out a way to watch shows that are from other countries and there's many fansub groups that will sub the shows in English.
I am asking because I watched two dramas that involved either sign language or hearing impaired character. Two of em are called "Summer Snow" and other one "Silence."
I loved those shows and strongly suggest people to give those shows a try. It's neat because you get to see foreign sign language in "Silence" because of character who is mute. SHe is a main character by the way so you will get to see a lot of sign language, texting, and even notepads lol.
I enjoyed watching drama from those countries because it's short (most of time only one season) unlike America which can last up to 5 years or more, lol.
Beware "Silence" can bring you to tears, I cried so hard at the end. Man...the sign they formed was so beautiful and I will post it in my signature.
But it was my first time realizing that the sign for "I love you" wasn't a universal sign because it means "anticipated" in Chinese sign language!
doh...who came up saying that sign was an universal sign???
