Turkey and Other Thanksgiving Meat Ideas

I didn't read all of the comments so I apologize if this idea has been posted already.. My aunt swears by covering the bird with bacon, the bacon fat keeps it moist. I haven't tried making it that way personally though, but I've ate at her house for Thanksgiving and it seemed accurate. I would have to ask her how often she changes out the bacon and such though, I'm not sure the details.
