I'm making an inventory list of bikes I have. I want to write down prices of what I paid and sold them for. It's pretty easy to write down that I paid $15 for it and sold it for $25. What I'm concerned about is multiple purchases or lot purchases.

You see, I may make a deal to buy 10 bikes for $100. How do I write it in my list that I bought 10 for $100. I then sold 1 for $25 the next day. 1 for $20 the next week. 1 for $15 2 weeks later. It's hard to make track that way.

I've been thinking that from lot of 10 for $100, I will just list individual bikes. You know, they averages to $10 per bikes so I will just list each bikes with purchase cost of $10. Maybe I'll sell it for $10. Maybe $30.

Your thought?

What about taxes, shipping and handling fees, restocking fees. Do they have warranty or guaranty? Do you sell bike insurance? Does any come with turbo or manual trans? How about damage waivers?

Micro$oft EXCEL! Thats is best spreadsheet software you could use. But if you can't afford, there is free spreadsheet software but its not as good as Excel.

One bike, two bikes, red bike, blue bikes.

Sorry, couldn't resist. :giggle:
