I'm working on an investigative story. If anyone has had a negative experience with Passages Deaf Travel, please get in touch with me privately. I'm most interested in those who still have not been reimbursed for overcharges or have not received items they were promised (i.e., DVDs).

I don't know. May be she is keeping private until she can tell the whole story? I don't know her personally, but admire what I've seen of her work, and I saw this on her FB page. Now she has added this comment:

Or rather, if you had negative experiences with ANY cruise specifically for Deaf people (deaf cruises, etc.), let me know, too.

This is not surprising new to me. PDT has a long list of bad history with ripping deaf people's money off. They overcharged them by adding extra on taxes and port fee, as well as double cancellation charge if one wanted to cancel the cruise. Trudy is investigating as she has been receiving a lot of complaints from deaf people about Passages Deaf Travel (owners Mac and Tab). PDT is also getting a lot of negative reviews on BBB (Better Business Bureau). Few of the PDT staff has been bad-mouthing about other deaf-owned travel agencies for no reason. If you or someone you knew had a bad experience with PDT, you should contact Trudy Suggs right away. You can Google her name for her email address.
