I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in assistive devices, so here it is. Anyway, my beloved service dog died unexpectedly a few months ago. I had trained him myselfand I'm so excited. He should be pretty well trained by the time he's 6 months old, then give him another 6 months for some maturity to kick in and he'll be as good as gold.
Anyone else ever trained their dog, maybe feel like sharing the ups and downs and trials and tribulations here? I figure since this is the second time around for me, it should be a bit easier and I won't make the stupid mistakes I did the first time around. If anyone is truly interested I'll make my hearing dog blog available too.
