Bainbridge police say a deaf teenage boy was struck and killed by a freight train.
The mishap occurred Wednesday around 6 p.m. on tracks near Hutto-McIver Apartments.
Police said 17-year-old Montravious Jones was airlifted to a hospital in Tallahassee, Fla., where he died.
Authorities said the train engineer sounded the train's whistle but the boy didn't hear it.
