Three Skin Cancers You Should Know About

My husband is fair skined and at the age 30 his dr found several skin cancer. So were frozen off and some had to be surgically taken off. He still get them.

Sun poisoning? I never heard of that till now. That's new to me.

Yes, you get get sun poisoning! My ex brother feel asleep in the sun and got really sick ,he had a horrible sun burn. He does tan but he over did by falling
asleep .

someone once told me that I look like I had sun poisoning when I was teen. I had tiny rash-like blisters all over my face. Never went to the doctor for it as it went away within a week.

Although, the problem was resolved at that time but proper checkup is necessary to prevent of being a permanent victim of skin disease.

I had a Basal Cell Carcinoma on my left cheek in 1986. I've been free and clear since then, but I'm always watching.

I did a lot of sunning when I was younger, and wearing any kind of lotions on my skin makes me gag. I'm pretty oily to begin with, so wearing sunblock is like putting cooking oil on my skin. Now I just stay out of the sun whenever possible, and when it's not, I wear as much light colored cover as I can.

Warning: Redhead...keep out of direct sunlight! :giggle:

One of my terps got melanoma. She had to get a lot of her moles removed. She won't go out in the sun anymore. I don't blame her. I'm quite fair skinned so I don't stay under direct sun for very long as I tend to get sunburned easily. I'm usually under shade if I'm outdoors.

When I was health I had a client that got melanoma and she said she never when out in the when when she was younger and her sitster did. My client's
sister did not get the cancer. My client was really up set about this!
