Wellington.scoop.co.nz » Thistle Hall: art by deaf and hearing-impaired students
12 artists from around the country have joined forces to create a diverse and inspiring collection of artworks. With an open theme and a wide range of media to enjoy – including painting, printmaking, collage, 3D and digital media – there will be plenty to stimulate the senses.
In an interesting turn of events, this year’s exhibition will be celebrated not with an opening night, but with a closing night. Designed to coincide with another national Deaf event held later in the evening, it will be the perfect way to mark the conclusion of the exhibition. The closing night event will take place on Saturday 27 November – 6.00 – 7.45pm. We hope you can join us.
