I've a friend of mine who is hearing. She bought her deaf friend to hang out with her family. You know do all cool things such as riding boat and hanging out. No one there signs except for my hearing friend and her deaf friend. The friend would complain that it is boring because no one signs. My hearing friend would then feel hurt and ask me for advices. I told her to offer to have her deaf friend bring a deaf friend or 2 so that the friend would not feel left out. My friend didn't follow through on my advice.

Well, same problem happened again. They got together and the deaf friend complained again about being left out. My hearing friend asked me again for suggestion.

I told my hearing friend to buy a vehicle with turbocharged engine. If the deaf friend gets bored at party, she would always leave party and drag race at every stop lights and stop signs.

So basically, if people ask me stupid questions, I would give stupid answers.
 
Agreed.

Really, the deaf friend needs to stop going over to her friend's family's events if it's too boring. Problem solved.

That is fair enough! Your suggestion is very good or you could tell your hearing friend to invite you to sign to her deaf friend about turbocharged engine.

My thoughts exactly. Why does he continues to go, if he is felt so left out. 2 people can sign. Something isn't right.

I suppose that the hearing friend must had coaxed or begged the deaf friend to come to the party. The hearing friend did not think that the deaf friend would have been left out. That would be the best advice for the deaf friend to have one or two deaf friends to come to the party. The hearing friend does not want to use his advice in order to find another deaf friends to come with them. :roll:

Why is it the hearing friend's responsibily? The deaf friend can find his own friends to hang out with, if he is so bored with his hearing friend. He can make his own decision.
 
People like that get on my nerves! She asked you once, you answered.
Well answered.

How many times one can ask the same question, and what she expects will happen the second time around?!- you will tell her how to miraculously heal the deaf friend, or how to at once deafen and ASL everybody else ? geez...
