What are some of the things your pet likes to eat ,besides commerically made pet food? My cat Spin LOVES and I mean LOVES Cheez-its. She also loves fish n' chips (both the fish and the chip) My other cat Trilly LOVES shrimp. Yesterday we were having shrimp pad Thai and she had her face stuck in the shrimp bowl, trying to steal a couple of shrimp. Trilly also loves lobster...when we had it for my mom's birthday, she was outside...then her little head popped up in the window and she started meowing furiously. She also loves to beg scraps off my dad's plate (he's the meat eater in the family)
 
My bullies are loved to eat cooked eggs, Cheddar cheese, and carrots.

My prevouis old cat named "Brat", He discovered loved to eat Liver when tiny kitten sitting staring while I cooking. Ready for my dinner.. Brat jumped on my leg and say MEOWER.. Geez hurts my leg.. I pulled him out of my leg.. Shoo shoo! Brat kept stubborn and jumped on my leg and say MEOWER.. Geez Not again , He killing my leg.. so I gave little cut 1/2 livers and chopped the pieces.. I gave him some liver.. Whoa, Brat gobbling eating too fast.. Geez.. I run into the my bedroom and close it.. I must hurry and eat it to be done! I can see distance Brat's arm under the door and trying to get more liver.. I refused let him open the door. When Brat turned older and big sit stare me. I knew He will do it same thing over over.. So I say NO!, LIVER IS MINE!!! I left from the kitchen and while I was in bathroom and came back to the kitchen.. Saw surprised.. Brat gobbling ate whole LIVER.. I *screamed* at him.. DAMN YOU!
Owned me by BRAT! Unfortunally I do dearly miss him, he is gone! :( Long time ago about 1998's.
 
snowball loves green olives, noodle beef, roast beef, real cheese, baked chicken... Fancy n Sheba cat cans..
 
My cat Kobe loves SEAFOOD!!!! He likes cake and rice. Surprise that he doesnt like red meat. Not same as other cats love eat red meat. how odd!!!
 
My cat loves pastry and bread. Crackers, anything that is made of wheat. :crazy:

Things that my cat doesn't like: FISH. :crazy: :crazy: nor MEAT! He is willing to take a nib on chicken but nothing else. Ham, but not much. Although he does like meat/fish-flavored dry food. I guess he doesn't like the real texture of real fish and meat..

Other than 9 lives canned cat food and friskies both of my cats absolutely love to eat popcorn! It's really hilarious to watch them race to the kitchen after they hear "pop..pop...popopop...pop" from the microwave. They'd pace back and forth in the kitchen waiting for me to throw some on the floor. :) I have never seen cats like my cats go absoletely nuts over popcorn! They also love fish, chicken, any kinds of meat, tomato sauce and clam chowder soup. :crazy:
 
My golden receiver Toby aka "Tubby" loves to eat EVERYTHING even he bited a fish bait with a hooked on it, and I could not take it out from his mouth, and I took him to the Vet to put him to sleep (for few hours) to take it out of his mouth. The bill was $125!! Only one food he dislike is Tomato!

My 2 cats ~ birman is fussy eater and sometimes pinch Toby's pal tin food, she likes to eat raw egg, cheese slices and bread! My other tabby cat eat all the left over she left for her!!
 
my dog eats anything that I eat-

one of my cats dont like people food at all, hes willing to enjoy a bowl of milk but otherwise he rather catch his own food and enjoy his treat raw and fresh.

the other cat likes people food and will steal meat in a heartbeat if no one is watching the table-
 
Some unusual food preferences my folks' cat has: Sour cream and onion potato chips, olives, and peaches, and last but certaintly not least, candy. Growing up I could ALWAYS count on my cat (yes, this is the same cat mentioned above) to raid my candy stash from Halloween and Easter. He seems to prefer reese's peanut butter cups but never failed to nibble on all the packets, thus contaminating my candy and I'd wind up having to throw it all away! He's now a ripe old age of 20. I'm amazed he's still alive as chocolate is supposed to be toxic to cats/dogs if eaten in large amounts.

:laugh2: My Rosie, brown burmese -- is one strange cat as she LOVES crisps (potato chips), twisties (cheese chips), some vegetables!! :eek2: pretzels(tomato and basil flavoured)...she has been caught pilfering raw chook and meat from the bench in the kitchen! Augh...had to give that one away to her and look for something else to cook for dinner instead! :lol:
 
My family dog, Zoey, absolutely loves eating strawberries and raw lima beans. When we shell the bean pods, she always looks at us and wait patiently for us to give her one or two beans. Also, for breakfast, she absolutely loves it when I dip my almond ladyfinger pastry in my yogurt and give it to her. She eats that up like crazy! She always loves eating cookies off us and absolutely must have the last bite of our sandwiches. She doesn't like mustard though, so if she can sniffle mustard, she wouldn't eat the sandwich. In Christmas time, she is very crazy about the German cookies I make, Lebkuchens. She eats that up very fast. I don't remember what else she likes though, have not seen Zoey since July 29th. :(

I like your story over your beloved cat "Brat".
Deep in my heart I'm very sad for you. I can image how you feel to lose Brat because I myself has a 17 years old cat "Sussi". She'll be 18 years old on 7th July.
 
Sussi, my 17 years old cat loves butter, tuna, ham, double cream!
She's a respectful cat. She knew we don't like her walk over the table or pinch her favourite foods etc. She hate to being alone so we get her a chair to sit down & watch us eat our meals until she saw her favorite on the table then crawl her paw on our hand or arm to show her ipression on us "PLEASE GIVE ME ONE".
 
My black Oriental short-hair kitty used to eat rubber bands, Christmas tree tinsel, and sewing needles and thread. Not good. :(
 
My puppy Tahoe eat ANYTHING! (no no to chocolate, rasins and grapes) She LOVES to clean off my plate. LOL! Also she like candies! *THUD* She'll put her paw on me and ask for one! That's too damn funny! Also she like chew/eat cardboard and wood. Weird dog...I had to keep them away from her.
 
Soon to be 20 years old Sussi lost her interesting to eat anything except cat food... She become fusser now... :shock:

Kim, my soon to be 2 years old Kim eat EVERYTHING including spinach, ice cream, etc..... really everything... except breads and rolls.
 
Our pet rats love to eat nuts and vegetables mostly. :)
 
My cat, Tiger, loves to eat everything especially veg. that she does not like and also she loves Ranch dressing, garlic, fishes, and tuna fish, ice cream.
 
My dog, Emmitt, loves to eat cheese, pie, vanilla icecream and any food that I eat...:lol:
