Now, people are discussing the common use of pain killer drugs which can cause people to become addicted. MJ's death is prompting a more closer look at celebrity stars who often have easy access to these opiate/opioid drugs. Doesn't matter if it killed MJ or not though the article notes that it was a regular part of MJ's drug therapy (perhaps wait for more confirmation on this and the toxicology report?). Drugs like Oxycontin (where have I heard that drug before? Rush Limbaugh? The druggie guy?) and Demerol are the two popular pain killer drugs of choice. No matter how uncomfortable you might be discussing this it's good to bring about awareness over sensitive issues. Overall increased awareness may actually help people in the short and long run of things and it may actually save lives.
