If they put in Robin Williams, Jim Carrey or Tim Allen, that's perfect entertainment.
Those 2 others would be perfect comedy than Sean Penn and Benicio del Toro.
And I agree, that the original cast should leave it as it is. But unfortunately, there is many remakes out there that takes away originals.
