One of the top tasks of this Association is working together with the Education System to form interpreters that will teach deaf at different levels.
The National Association for the Deaf in this province started taking actions for participating in the third congress to be held in May in Havana; some measures are going to be taken for improving the country structuring, which main purpose is to raise its members as a helpful part of the Cuban society.
Up to the present, there are 1 352 members in Camagüey, 83 of them are children who study at specialized schools, whereas approximately 500 adults are taking different courses.
