I often just begin to fall to one side when I'm walking or standing, and I put my hand against the wall. People think I'm sleepy when I do that.
Are you serious?
Do all deaf people experience this or do you just have a particulary extreme case?

from what i've heard, 70% of people who have carpal tunnel surgery are quite happy with the results and are able to achieve full use of their hand several months after surgery. of course, there is also the possibility that surgery will not completely eliminate the numbness, weakness, burning or tingling, but the way i see it, i have nothing to lose. my doctor said the same thing to me and thinks i should give it a try. yesterday I called my neurologist's office for an appointment, so hopefully they will get back to me sometime today.
