To some it is a lifelong tool
To others it is a problem to used at school
Then flushed down the loo
 
the concept is interesting but i would like to see more visual... One thing that is important in poetry ( which I have yet to master) is to show not tell. Can you SHOW the frustration of the one who uses the hearing aid... or the journey of the hearing aid that once knew the coziness of a persons ear to be dumped down into a place that causes knows to wrinkle , dark cold and ... eww. i dont want to think about what else is in the toilet..

the humble hearing aid

to some a lifelong tool
to others just a nuisance to be used at school
then to drowned in a watery grave of twists and turns of unspeakable goo was drowned with such force and hated what did it ever did it do that was so wrong
