This is a hugely interesting thing to me. As someone who loves research and has often been frustrated with what is available on the World Wide Web I was not surprised to find out that the WWW is only the surface of an ocean. Aside from the drama of criminals and intrigue that is mentioned in the Time magazine story about it, I am interested in the enormous mass of data stored here. It is like all my birthdays at once. It is also called the Invisible Web.
