That reminds me of the old joke of Saint Peter showing a Methodist through heaven and they get to a walled of section with a sign on the wall , "Silence".

They pass by and the Methodist says, "Why the need for silence back there?"

Saint Peter responds, "That's the Catholic section, they think they are the only ones here!" :hmm:

We have a former Catholic in our Baptist church - two polar opposites within Christianity. Now that's some debate ready to start there!

Oh here's a lovely topic - should the poultry industry continue on as it is to keep more jobs for Americans or should it change to have more benefits for the chickens. Now that we have carnivores and herbivores in here, this could prove interesting...... :hmm:

america...is a fat place..im sure american's would rather their benefits.. :P could care less about the chickens...
On my part... I say let the chickens go!lol!
 
As a poultry worker - I say make more chickens so there's more work to go around for everyone. The downside however would be that the demand would still be low with a high supply. Not good economics.

On the other hand, I say provide better conditions for the chickens. I can't imagine what those chickens must go through. I wouldn't like it if I were stuck in a building 24/7 living in my own feces and having my food and water supply regulated to force me into another hatching cycle, or given chemical additives to my food to make me grow faster than my body can safely handle that would cause respiratory distress - as if the ammonia wasn't enough. And not only that Im crammed in with another 2,000 people in this same building and its a sleep-where-you-can scenario. I know in my uncles houses the chickens never see darkness, the lights are on 24/7 to increase production.

But BK's breakfast is more nutritous and McDonald's lunch has more of a variety of lunch meals than BK!!!!

So we should hire Paris Hilton to consult on how to pamper those chickens. iThat way nobody has any guilt!

I love the McSkillets Burrito's in the AM.


And BK lunch is more Nutritious due to they Grill their hamburgers over open Flames. When McDonald's fry them. :P

compared to some of the foods we eat at home. :hmm:

Unless one really reads the contents of what they consume. One has to really wonder.

No different than grillin' a burger and french fries at home.

It is a wonder why America is considered the most Obese country in the world.
