Deaf World Softball Championships
YouTube - World Deaf Softball Championship 2011
Welcome to the Deaf World Softball Championships website! We’re excited and proud to announce that the first-ever Deaf World Softball championships will be held in Gilbert, Arizona on April 22nd to 24th, 2011. With the Deaf World Softball Championships (DWSC), we’re bringing in a new era for the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA)! We are looking forward to further advance the visibility of deaf softball by hosting prize tournaments with sponsorships from major companies and corporations.
We would like to expand our membership and participants by establishing this organization. In order to accomplish our goals for the membership/participant expansion, we will be holding the Deaf World Softball Championships tournament. in April 2011. By doing so, we will need your involvement by supporting socialization, education, community involvement, and hosting athletic activities. Let’s work together in making this organization happen by becoming a strong vocal point for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing sporting community.
When playing in our tournaments under the USSSA guidelines, players/participants will not have to worry about just winning a simple trophy. In addition to awarding trophies, the Deaf World Softball Championships tournament officials may be providing softball bats in some of our Big Sponsor Prize Tournaments. Potential sponsorships may be provided by elite companies like Easton, Demarini, Miken and Worth.
The level of playing will be equal for all teams and players. Please become familiar with the USSSA rules and regulations before coming to Arizona – (Click Here)
See who’s team has checked in! – (Click Here)
Let’s pack up our softball gear and head down to the Southwest!
Good luck to all teams participating in the Deaf World Softball Championships Tournament in April 2011! See you in your DREAMS!
