The Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Choose Purple VRS
Purple Communications™, Inc., a leading provider of innovative communications for people who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech-impaired, has partnered with the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ACDHH), providing Purple Video Relay Services (VRS)* through desktop computers and public videophones, along with other Purple product and services, to commission employees, as well as Arizona deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals utilizing the many resources ACDHH offers.
"We chose Purple for a number of reasons," ACDHH Executive Director Sherri Collins explained. "Not only do they have a long history of promoting equal communications access to deaf and hard-of-hearing people, but they are innovators in new pathways of communications - the leader in providing VRS, Personal Voice Greeting features and PurpleMail™."
The ACDHH provides a variety of services and resources for Arizona deaf and hard-of-hearing residents, including telecommunications relay services, telecommunications equipment distribution programs and other initiatives, working closely with community leaders to determine available resources and improve services to better serve deaf and hard-of-hearing citizens throughout the state.
