Developed in partnership with the City of Louisville and the State of Kentucky, 4th Street Live! is a $75 million redevelopment of an antiquated enclosed mall into a vibrant, open-air entertainment district.

Located in the heart of the downtown across from the Convention Center, 4th Street Live! will serve as the anchor of a six block entertainment district.

The project will cover the equivalent of two city square blocks and include the re-opening of 4th Street. 4th Street Live! will feature a blending of the best national and regional retail/entertainment tenants. Construction commences Winter 2002.

Kewl! Thanks for telling me about this. Went to Louisville near 2 years ago with my late friend. This design remind me of 16th Street Mall in Denver Downtown.

This looks very interesting since the Louisville and Jefferson County merger in 2003!

I will try to find 4th Street in Louisville-Jefferson County before going to Indinaapolis this week-end.

I just was in Louisville less than 2 weeks ago and went to the 4th Street Live! area. It was so radical. They had a bowling alley called Lucky Strikes and boy, I had never seen a bowling alley THAT so fancy. It felt like I was in the 30's when I was in that bowling alley but it's cool, though. Also ate at Hard Rock Cafe which was pretty neat too. :D Btw, Louisville is not that far from me. I only live about 1.5 hr from there.

Cool. I've visited Louisville on two different occasions, just to travel over to New Albany, IN for a couple of computer expo's. Louisville's quite nice.
