The ice room is SOOOOO cool! However, I hate to be cold, so I'd be pretty upset eventually... hehe...
 
not sure about first room reminds of skull..Ice rooms are nice aparrently you not cold in them so not sure how that works

the same way as how igloo is quite warm...heat rises...and its trapped...so its warm-er...
 
I would hate to be the one that has to do housework in the first room. There is all the stuff on the ceiling that will need to be dusted all the time. It's interesting looking . I had always wanted to live in a log cabin with a big brick fireplace between the kitchen and living room and have 2 dogs and 2 cats sleeping in front of it.
 
If you hate dusting, forget the log cabin, its worst on dusting. Plus if you wish to buy a log cabin with mortgage, good luck finding homeowners insurance, and it WON'T be cheap.

I rather brick house (With ivy around would be great but I know it is bad for house) with wood stove instead of fireplace.

I live in a brick building and it stay hot too long. I had a small saltbox house that was build in the 1800 in Berkeley Calf. and had a hard time getting insurance for my house. It was my log cabin, only the logs where flat. I had cast-iron woodstove and it had a wildlife scene on the sides of a deer in the woods. My daughter and I had a dog and a cat . I had to down size my dream house but it was fine with me.

you're right, it is interesting, and yet too high maintenance- wise. i agree. just want to say it kind of reminds me of Star Wars as if you went to a more afluent home in Tatooine...
