Texas Instruments confirms color TI-84+ calculator

TI-82 plus is perfect fine for me. It's good enough for passed algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. That's all I need.

I wonder if class permit to have mobile phone with advanced calculator app?

Hmm... interesting. Would make graphing easier to read if you have multiple lines graphed. :)

If there's coding involved, then colors would make things easier too (like Dreamweaver for HTML coding). :)

I have a TI-81, but I haven't used it since the advent of math software on a comp. I wonder if there is a smartphone app that is as good as it. I'm surprised people still use them, but in terms of keyboard hardware they are nice.

I used a TI-81 for Algebra 2 when I was in high school. It was actually on loan from the school (I had to sign out for it and was responsible for it throughout the year).

When I went to RIT, I bought my own TI-83+ for my classes. I still have it today. It still works. :)

This is the last TI I ever had. Wonder where it went???

On an off note: I bought two Oscilloscopes, tektronix 2235 100 mhz 2ch, at a yard sale for $70. The thing of it is there are no leads. They sell on ebay for anywhere from $30 to $300 so I could make some money. However, a new digital hardware scope unit could go for $1k so they would be worth keeping since you can do the same work, I believe.
