I always naked eye gaze the sky without telescope since my life. Finally I looked at the telescope with tripod. I am ready to learn and looking for cheap eyepiece. I saw 50 to 150 dollars each. expensive. jeez. free with my naked eyes!

Try e-bay if you know what you are looking for also contact the factory headquarters to see if they will send you a specific part for free because some tools etc. do have a lifetime warranty on it.

I hope that you found some pieces for your telescope.

I wish I have a mirror telescope approx. 18 inches wide. Now, it is awful expensive. It made me so mad. I remember when I was little kid, it used to be about 600 dollars. Now, it is approx. 2,000 dollars just for the same machine. What a rip off.

If I move in a quiet place where is no light around the area, it must be so beautiful to look at rich of stars very clear sky without using a telescope. It makes me so relax looking at the stars especially shoot stars. If I look at a moon, it makes me think that it is a bad luck - not quite true but who knows...

If there is a full moon, the police know that it is a bad luck for them. Our moon pulls Earth gravity that affect our brain which make our brain fluid floating a little bit. This means that their mind get excited and to look something for fun. The policemen/women have to be prepared to catch them if there is any report on the radio.

Yes Webexplorer I saw on the news tv about how the gravity of moon is affecting on us. With full moon is beautiful especially romance night. Is your avatar picture a radio telescope?

I have a Nikkan 90 telescope. The moon looks like youre on it from a bird's eye view. Jupiter looks as big as a CD, and Saturn as big as a golf ball. Even tit nipples can look as big as a large pizza. Haha hah ah!

Ahhh ..... so I will give you 3 cases of cold beer  and I get to see the women's tits on the Southern California beach ? :laugh2: and I will throw in extra bottles of Jack Daniel's for you so I can move the telescope over to the nude beach to see the women's sweet spot too !!!! How's that ? :fingersx:

Yes, I have it on my avatar. I have seen a small radio telescope and a white dome. A professor invited me to see it when I was teenager. It was a very long drive in the deep woods to see the radio telescope. I went inside the dome, and heard some strange static sounds in the air inside the dome. It was very interesting and very cool. The disc is about 50 feet wide. I touched the disc, and I think it was a tiny vibration. I noticed a small blue laser in the middle of the disc. The radio telescope and the dome owns by a college. I haven't see him since 20 years. I think his salary wasn't that great, but he loves his job.

cool! I have not been inside radio telescope yet. It's fun. I do love space, planets, stars, and more.

Why don't you bring your telescope to a local telescope place or something and see what they can tell you. It might depend on the telescope and would be easier to just say... "Here's the telescope. What's missing?" Then, they can make recommendations. :thumb:

I forgot to ask you - What kind of telescope that you have? i.e. a reflector (mirror) or an original main tube telescope without reflector? You are so lucky that you got one.

Yep, that is called inflation (the value of a dollar was worth more in the past)...

I remember looking at telescope catalogs years ago when young. The prices weren't too bad then but now?!?!? I love a Questar but they are not cheap and they weren't back then either.

Go to a star party. I finally got around to attending one for the first time and I brought my son along with me. We had a blast! Got to see Jupiter and Saturn through a 11" Celestron. Beautiful instrument!!!
