Telecommunications - cell phones

Hi all,

I'm wondering what would be best for me and my wife (best meaning reasonable price and easy to type in).

I'm deaf and my wife can hear.

I'm looking for two cell phones (one for each of us) that we both can use to text each other and my wife could use her phone to make normal cell phone calls.

Oh.. and I'm in Ontario, Canada - not the US.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions
 
Blackberry or Palm or Sidekick or LG will do since they have QWERTY keyboard. It depends on what service carrier is available in your area and their selections of phones

Yeah... find one with a good QWERTY keyboard.

Also, some companies have good family plans where the minutes are shared and messages between you two are unlimited. :)
