I remember that. Authorities was sent to the persons house to do a welfare check.

They tracked the person down by IP address, and went from there.
 
I felt that what she decide to use Twitter which isn't kind wrong tool. She need something better. But that's terrible news. :(

I do not tweet and have no idea how it work but couldn't someone had ask girl where she lived and called the for help that way? And what about her famliy , I wonder if her mother knew what was going on in her house. The cops could had told the girl to go to ER and asked for a rape kit test and that could had been used as DNA evident. The cops failed miserably to do their job!!
