I have never said it happened. I'm saying that the new law allows for it. (Actually, specialists say that... USA-specialists.)
actually I think it's sad that you think that all experts are the same. (i shoudln't say the same but shoudl say it as all experts are experts) Anyone can go to school here and get a degree in anything they want, then call themselves 'experts'. That's one freedom we have.

Happens all the time.
EX not having to do with wars and stuff....pete singer is a expert in his field. (medical ethicist or some such thing) he thinks it's perfectly ok to terminate the lives of babies up to one month of age if they have birth defects. I disagree. I do believe if the child is dying because of a type of defect drs have never found a way to keep them alive that quality of life should be maintained (pain control and such) until nature takes is course, sometimes despite our medical knowledge it's best to let thing take their course, but this isn't what singer is talking about.
he also thinks it perfectly ok to terminate the lives of elderly or disabled family members when whoever is caring for them decides they are a burden (or not enjoying quality of life) . (I disagree, if he had his way my daughter would have been terminated because of her extra 21st chromosome, I assure you and him that she is human and does have feelings)
so think a bout this in terms of a deaf baby being born to a hearing parent, because that baby is not perfect and wouldn't have the quality of life missing one of it's senses a parent should have the choice to terminate that babies life up til the age of 1 month. after all it's the 'parent's right. (while we would disagree there are people like pete singer think the only 'ethical' solution is death)
And that is a slippery slope that euthanasia can lead to.
(oh and I have to add this as an edit) that anyone can be an expert but as my example shows that doesnt mean they know what they're talking about.
