Teen Arrested for Stealing Computers from RI School for the Deaf | ABC 6 | News

A teenager is behind bars after getting busted Thursday night for breaking into the Rhode Island School for the Deaf in Providence.

Police responded to an alarm around 11 pm at the school, located on Corliss Park, and saw one of the front windows pushed in along with movement in the gym area.

After circling the school, police say they saw 19-year old Matthew Polce pushing a barrel full of computer equipment up a hill near the parking lot on Hawkins Street.

He then led police on a foot chase into the woods but was eventually caught. He is now at Providence PD waiting for a judge.
