Hey everyone I am going to be running with Team Diabetes in May in Edinburgh, Scotland! Diabetes runs in my family and I'm running mainly for my grandfather who struggles with his diabetes! I would love if anyone could pledge for me even a few dollars it would be greatly appreciated!

The link to pledge is here
https://ocp.diabetes.ca/pledge/csSearch.asp?prId=td

And my name is Alicia Magliocco and city of residence is Nepean

Also side note have any deafies participated in a charity run before? This is my first..any tips?
Thanks! :)

I participated with my girlfriend and her Mom in Team Relay 2 months ago. I was the only deaf one out there. Not sure what tips you are looking for.

I've also participated in a lot of animal shelter 5k walks. I do this because I want to support good causes and so does my rottweiler Zeus. Important thing is those are good causes. Not worried about being left out.

On side note, my girlfriends' Mom has diabetic so I wish you the best luck with the pledges.

is it 5k run? follow your own pace of running and you will make it. good luck!

There's a 5k 10k half and full marathon ..I'm doing the 5k cuz I'm not supposed to be running period so I'm walking/running the 5k for my first one!

Thats nice to offer all of those runs. i like it.

5k walk and run is a good start with.

I still want to go to the marathon in NYC one day. First i need to warm up with half marathon.
