Teacher, Student Relationships

We, teachers, have a moral obligation to teach our students from right and wrong. It is unfortunate that those teachers who cross the line arent practicing what they preach.

Has it really "increased" or just more "exposed"? I used to think the same way, til mom pointed out things like that during the '60s were swept under the rugs and kept behind closed doors out of family shame.

I tend to go with the more exposed. Just like the assumption that airline crashes are a greater probability than they actually are. They get lots of press coverage, but no one ever cites the number of crashes compared to the actual number of flights. When one does that, they see that the probability of a plane crash is actually extremely low. Just like the chance of a teacher having sex with a student when we look at the number of teachers nationwide.

The best way imho is putting them to death. Why keep them alive at the expense of taxpayer's money, giving them things that we as law abiding citizens work our asses off for when they don't have to. How is it that fair?

For most sex offenders that get out of prison, re offends again.
