Teacher in trouble after students don Klan robes

Ahem...

TXgolfer will need to explain further....

Are you funny at someone's post that considered to be serious?

U serious? My hubby is black and he and his family would have a shit fit if someone flaunting a hood around them.

Yes serious.....people are different in different areas of the country I guess. Plus my buddies know I like to joke around (class clown type). They cracked up. It helps that they know me and know I don't have a racist bone in my body. They make fun of my hearing all the time as well. Doesn't bother me in the least. I noticed when I go up north people don't have the same sense of humor.

Uppity, TXgolfer?

More joyless. It doesn't seem like they know how to have fun. Here people do things......and grab a beer. Up north it seems like they just plan for the alcohol. Obviously not everybody is like that.....just a different vibe though.

kokonut is from up north :aw:

Like I say not all......You tend to be pretty funny. It's just different. Here I say hi to 40 strangers a day.....they smile and say hi back. Up north alot of them will give ya the DiNiro Taxi Driver look. And it's not the accent. I have a northern (actually Chicago) accent.

oh don't worry - these people around here do need to lighten up and shit in the nature with a shovel

and you are from North too.
I'm from Korea, not North :)
I grew up in North but I adopt quite a bit of Southern way. That's why I chose to go to college in Virginia. the very southern part. Ever seen a Northerner who has a very strong Amendment Two view and says ya'all?

I'm from the South and doesn't find txgolfer's post to be funny. :aw:
but I do. Lighten up! :aw:

 Yeah still need to experience NY NY. Boston is pretty friendly. Maine too. It was DC that seemed pretty bad. Ohio is pretty friendly but not much for "scenery" there.

Adirondack's nice. Although NYC sucked.

We should start a favorite cities you don't live in thread. Mine would be Boston,Chicago and Portland

good idea. let's not derail this thread.

checking to see if such thread existed.....

I don't like cities. Mountains, the open land, nature, etc...can't beat that.
