teabaggers complain not enough public transit

Well it says that they protested about not enough public transport. I would consider a valid complaint. Can't see anywhere where it says they wanted paying to protest?
After all you do pay when you use public transport. Trains especially can be very pricy.

They protested about not enough public transportation during their protest, not at other times. The whole point behind their hypocrisy is that their protests are against government spending, and then they turn around and complain that the government is not spending enough and it inconvenieced them. They can't have it both ways. Either they think the government is spending too much on public concerns, or they think the government should be spending more on public concerns. These people are not concerned with the people (mostly lower income) who rely on public transportation every day to get to work, get to shopping, do errands, and get to appointments. They are only concerned with how it affected them for a few hours out of their lives.

The whole point of this group is to get the Conservatives lathered up over every possible thing. Keep digging around for more stuff to bitch about. If there were enough buses, they would complain about how much money is wasted on public transportation. "A whole bunch of us show up, and the public transport people never missed a step. They provided rides for all of us. Wonder what all those workers are doing other times, when we are not here? Probably sit around collecting salaries."
Personally, I think they have chosen a name for themselves that shows their naiveté. How can the party animals in colleges take them seriously? :giggle:

It's a widely circulated picture of a man from a previous Tea Party protest holding up a sign that reads, "Get a brain! Morans." In his other hand, he holds a sign that reads, "Go USA."

The man is quite the character, sporting a mullet, sunglasses, bushy mustache and American flag bandanna covering his head.

What's the photo of?

That's exactly why I have low opinions of teabaggers - they clearly don't know what they're talking about.

Well if they were using public transport for this demonstration, maybe they only just realised that more of it should be available. That still doesn't make them hypocrites.

I think public spending should be used on things that help the environment such as public transport and people who really need it such as the old, poor and disabled.

It shouldn't be used for other things. Such as abortion, research, factory farming, warfare, or anything else like that.

It shouldn't be used for other things......such as....research....
Let's focus on this part of your quote. You want to stop funding for research. What type are you referring to, medical research? Because that sure looks wrong next to all the "save the premie" comments made elsewhere. Maybe I am misreading you here. Are you saying we should use the current technology into infinity to save money? No spending money to learn better ways to cure diseases; no mass murder of harmless mice for the benefit of science? "We have enough knowledge now. Let's save tax money so we can buy a new TV?" If this is your thinking, I do not go along.
