Wake up America! Problem with overcrowded prison? budget issue? high drug crime rate? etc? One solution for all - LEGALIZE POT AND TAX THE CRAP OUT OF IT

haha some pothead people won't be happy if they see the high tax on weeds. :shock: unless they sell with reasonable prices. WHY NOT! ha
 
Nah, never gonna happen! LOL How about TAX THE CRAP OUT OF VIDEO GAMES! Damn things are just as addicting and our youth need to get off their @$$e$!
 
Why wouldn't pot be taxed if it became legal?

Not necessarily. Even if pot is legalized someday (which it may well be given that some cities already are turning the other cheek as long as it's under a certain amount), so much pot-selling still will take place among friends and such that it won't be taxed. It's different from cigs or alcohol - you can't get that unless you buy it at a store or actually work for the companies - whereas we all know pot can be grown anywhere by anyone who knows how. :)

you still need supply anyway. why go thru trouble to grow it and to maintain it when you can buy it anywhere? :)
