If they find the driver who drove the semi truck that was leaking tar substance, that would be a huge fine against the company for sure. Pretty big mess for sure.

I heard about that when I was traveling for Thanksgiving. Good thing I wasn't even near that area.

Something similar happened 4 years ago on the highway I was on when I was traveling for Thanksgiving. A truck spilled tacks along part of the highway causing traffic to come to a standstill for 2 to 3 hours. I was in that traffic. *groans*

I could see a lot of people taking the exit ramp to get around it with the service/frontage road or people driving downhill/uphill when there was no ramp nearby.

Either way, it did them no good because the last entrance ramp was 500 yards before the spill and there was no service/frontage road after that. Meaning, if you snuck off... you're still gonna get stuck! Hehehe!

Thank god I no longer use PA turnpike like I used when I was young. Now using NYS thruway.
Yeah, that sucks cause if it happens to my truck I would easily fork $1,500 dollars minimum for replacement on tires.

they already know

The truck that leaked the driveway sealant belongs to Marino Transportation Services in Stevensville, Md.

"We are investigating the cause of this spill and working with various authorities to determine what the cause was. At this point, we believe it was a leaky valve," Joe Marino said. He added that the substance can be cleaned with household cleaning products.
