This would be interesting how long life expectancy of the home components and when they should be replaced. This should help people to know when the age comes, some parts wear out and need replacement.

cool. for the sake of simplicity, I prefer living in a home made out of shipping container.
 
I don't think any of my appliances lasted as long as they say they should. I guess we must be hard on them.
 
Ah would that apply to house renovations and etc?? My 3 brothers and I am working on plans to fix up the house somehow to make it look good some more.. we gonna replace the floor sections in the 3 bedrooms (one of them is my office room now) also get some boards put up near the roof underneath to replace some old ones and also do the works on the garage to get some pieces replaced and repainted and more.. that will be done in a good time for a bit.. that all we can do to get the house looking better and improved some more...

Some of those are too expensive to build, but I can understand about lifetime structure, they are more economically compare to others which have to repair all the times.
