Swimming holes you've been to?

I consider swimming to be a life skill, not just for enjoyment. You never know when you will be in a situation where you will have to swim to save your own life or save someone elses. My mom can't swim but she swears she can if she had to, which is why I prefer Maddie swim in places where I can swim with her or if there is a trained lifegaurd on duty.

I actually floated on my back once for several minutes under the hot lazy sun and briefly dozed off for a few minutes. My open toed sandals rubber bottom help add to the bouyancy for my feet making it easier to float. A really odd experience.

Asked daughter today if she wanted to learn to swim and she said no. Son is willing, but not too much. He thinks he can muddle through but I know better. Will see what I can do.
