Have you ever gone into a store or gas station, etc. where you felt that an employee was looking where you went or look at you/ask you something that made you feel that they thought you might be stealing>?

I was at a hotel looking at their tiny store in a corner, and the woman at the front desk suddenly appears by the window with no access to the tiny corner asking, may I help you? I said, no thank you smiling nice and she don't smile much kinda odd...made me wonder if she thought I was trying to take something. I was there for a convention not staying at the hotel, but I was bored during lunch hour because the room was locked, so I popped in the tiny corner store to take a peek.

Another man at a gas station store asked, "are you being good?" joking and smiling, but you know...I thought that he was asking if I was stealing or something.

Ever had that experience? Well, I know I am not the only one who has been made suspicious.

I have that experiences with someone else. I cant tell you who.

I think it's because I look around too much lol. I don't know, but I really don't like it when they start to watch you because then I don't feel comfortable in their store. I think the woman assumed that I was smiling in thinking I was hiding something. I was just being nice, and she caught me off guard when she stood there like a ghost.

i never steal at any store or gas store due security reason

yes - it depends on what I'm wearing. If i wear something like hood and cap... they tend to have a look-out on me.

All the time, but it doesn't make me feel insecure. Just grin and get into some conversation that makes them uncomfortable. Recently, I noticed a woman following me and my guide dog while buying dog food who asked me if it was for the dog??? I told her instead it was a special diet I was into, one guy almost pissed his pants overhearing my conversation. I always have a way of having it backfire on them! If I've done nothing wrong, why the hell should I worry about it? LOL

I was in a store with a friend, and then we hear an announcer say, "Security Check" over the PA. So, my friend and I decided to run away, just for fun and to make people think we did something wrong. We didn't steal anything, and neither did we intend to steal. Surprisingly, no security chased us, etc.

Oh yeah, often. When i wear skateboard clothes with hooded sweater, i usually covered hooded on my head with hat. They assume that i do something bad in the store, they (staff) would watch on me. I dont really do nothing at all, just feeling creepy when they (people) eyes on me. I feel like to say, "f... off"

I'd steal shit in his face then when he looks away, I'd put them back making him thinking a lot of things about me.

When he asked me to empty my pocket which I did, he got confused, and he asked me if I've eaten them.

Be sure if you ate what you stole, to poop it out and return it at no cost.
